INNOVATE : Skema ġdida li tiffaċilita proċessi ta’ innovazzjoni fl-intrapriżi żgħar u medji
L-iskema Innovate tħabbret waqt żjara fil–kumpanija IBG Automation f’Ħal Far
Il-Ministru għall-Ambjent, l-Enerġija u l-Intrapriża Miriam Dalli nediet skema ġdida li tiffaċilita proċessi ta’ innovazzjoni fl-intrapriżi żgħar u medji. Dan jista’ jsir f’partnership bejn intrapriża żgħira jew medja, u organizzazzjoni ta’ riċerka, li tista’ tkun bbażata f’ Malta jew anke barra minn Malta.
L-iskema Innovate se tkopri parti mil-ispiża biex persuna minn organizzazzjoni ta’ riċerka tkun mislufa għal perjodu ta’ żmien ma’ intrapriża sabiex tkun tista’ twassal għall-proċess ta’ innovazzjoni meħtieġ. L-assistenza tista’ tingħata ukoll għall-konsultazzjoni minn organizzazzjoni ta’ riċerka, jew inkella sistemi ta’ sapport bħal aċċess għal software u database offruti online.
Din l-iskema tħabbret waqt żjara li l-Ministru Dalli għamlet fil-kumpanija IBG Automation, flimkien mal-Kap Eżekuttiv tal-Malta Enterprise Kurt Farrugia. IBG Automation hija parti minn Goeke Technology Group ibbażata l-Ġermanja, u ilha topera f’Malta mill-2014. IBG Automation twettaq proġetti ta’ riċerka u żvilupp għall-klijenti ta’ Goeke Technology fosthom Tesla, Volkswagen, Mercedes u Ford.
Bl-assistenza tal-Malta Enterprise, il-kumpanija IBG Automation se tkun qed tinvesti mal-€400,000 f’ investimenti ġodda ta’ 3D Metal Printer u makkinarju ta’ CNC. Dan l-investiment se jwassal għal aktar klijenti ġodda anke dawk fuq livell lokali.
Il-Ministru Miriam Dalli sostniet li “Investiment bħal dan juri l-fiduċja li kumpaniji barranin għandhom f’Malta. Filwaqt li se jkun qed jagħti kontribut mill-aqwa lill-ekonomija Maltija se jkun qed iwassal ukoll għal żieda fl- impjiegi u xogħol ta’ kwalità. Għalhekk flimkien mal-Malta Enterprise se nkomplu noħolqu skemi li jwasslu iktar intrapriżi lejn ir-riċerka u żvilupp, u anke lejn proċessi ta’ innovazzjoni kif nedejna llum bl-iskema Innovate.”.
Il-Kap Eżekuttiv tal-Malta Enterprise Kurt Farrugia rrimarka kif “din l-iskema hija prodott ta’ konsultazzjonijiet anke mal-Università ta’ Malta fejn se jiffaċilita kollaborazzjonijiet bejn l-intrapriżi tagħna u organizzazzjonijiet ta’ riċerka diversi, kemm f’ Malta kif ukoll barra minn Malta. L-għan aħħari huwa li nkomplu nikkontribwixxu lejn proċessi bbażati fuq tagħrif u ħiliet teknoloġiċi speċifiċi biex nkomplu nsaħħu t-talent tal-impjegati fl- ekonomija Maltija”.
IBG Automation toffri servizz ħolistiku fejn tidħol riċerka u żvilupp li jwassal sal-installazzjoni tal-prodott u ttestjar tekniku. Il-prodotti ta’ IBG jiġu użati f’ setturi bħal fil-manifattura tal-karozzi, il-farmaċewtika u kimika, manifattura ta’ prodotti tal-ikel, komponenti elettroniċi, u s-setturi tal-avjazzjoni u l-enerġija.
Il-kumpanija toħloq prodotti li jikkumplimentaw sistemi awtomatiċi li jintużaw fi proċessi ta’ manifattura, assemblaġġ, ippakkjar u nspezzjonijiet, permezz ta’ robots u vetturi ggwidati b’ mod awtomatiku magħrufin bħala Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
Il-Kap Eżekuttiv ta’ Goeke Technology Group, Matthias Goeke rrimarka kif “it-tim Malti huwa pilastru kruċjali għal grupp hekk kif il-kapaċità tagħhom flimkien mas-sapport kontinwu mingħand Malta Enterprise u entitajiet oħra tal-Gvern, jagħmel lil Malta bażi interessanti fejn wieħed ikollu l-operat tiegħu speċjalment operat li jkun fundamentali għal-kumplament tal-operat ta-grupp”.
IBG Automation se tkun qed tirdoppja l-ammont ta’ impjegati sas-sena d-dieħla u iktar minn tittrippla matul it- tliet snin li ġejjin.
